Hurricane season is upon us. This is the time when stocking-up on canned foods, batteries and water goes along with the everlasting hope that we will not get hit. Whether you already have an established routine of refurbishing the pantry and finding adequate shelter, or you are completely new to the hurricane-preparedness madness that goes into effect when under a storm threat, we have thought about providing you with a special checklist.
Our “Hurricane-Ready Checklist” is meant to enumerate all you need to have and make available at the first storm warning if you, or your loved ones, are dealing with allergies and asthma. When it comes to facing the pressure of getting ready for a hurricane or to evacuate, having a visual checklist of what you need to do will make the process more organized. Caring for our patients was our main goal while preparing the list, and we made sure not to leave anything unaccounted for.
