It’s not your imagination. The dust and dirt blowing around South Florida carries an early bloom of pollen that is bringing misery to many allergy sufferers.

“They have been coming in with itchy eyes, red eyes, burning eyes,” said Dr. Neil Gershman, a specialist at Asthma and Allergy Associates of Florida, with offices in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
