Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care is committed to providing our patients with excellent and timely care. In order to provide immediate care, we have several Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) on our staff. These highly educated healthcare professionals have completed extensive training in the specialty of allergy, asthma, and immunology under the guidance and expertise of our Doctors. You can expect the same services from these Practitioners as from our Doctors (evaluations, diagnosis, prescriptions, necessary tests and labs). This team is always on call after regular office hours. Our Doctors work very closely with these Practitioners and are always available to them for consultation.
Sandra Rolfs, is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. Ms. Rolfs received her Bachelor of Science as a Physician Assistant and her Masters of Public Health from Nova Southeastern University in 1996. Ms. Rolfs has been practicing with Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care since 1996 and is the manager of our mid-level providers. She is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
Precy Kumar has been with Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care since 2008. Precy received her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant and her Masters of Medical Science from Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants; and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Ellen Sam, has been with Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care since July 2007. She is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who has practiced in the medical field since she acquired her Masters in Medical Science at Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Inna Liberman has been with Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care since August 2012. Mrs. Liberman was born in Russia and she earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Florida International University; and her Masters of Clinical Medical Science from Barry University. She did her clinical rotations at Westchester General Hospital, Memorial Regional Hospital, Aventura Hospital and Holy Cross. Mrs. Liberman is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Russian.
Yael Assidon is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, and a Minor in Family and Child Science from Florida State University in 2010. She later received her Master’s in Medical Science at Nova Southeastern University from which she graduated with honors in 2012. Prior to joining Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care, Ms. Assidon worked in Family Medicine at a private medical practice in Fort Lauderdale. She has been with Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care since June 2013. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She is fluent in English and Hebrew.
Jessica Vigoa has been with Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care since November 2015. Ms. Vigoa earned her Bachelors of Psychology from Florida International University; and her Masters in Medical Science from Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. She did her clinical rotations at Jackson South Community Hospital, South Miami Hospital, Homestead Hospital and Baptist Hospital. Ms. Vigoa has a BCLS and ACLS certification by the American Heart Association. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and is a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Katia Carmona has been with Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care since August 2015. Ms. Carmona received her Bachelor degree from Florida International University in 2002, her Associate degree from Keiser University in 2008 where she was valedictorian, and her Master’s in Nursing from Barry University in 2015. Ms. Carmona has clinical experience in Adult Primary Care, Geriatrics, Pediatrics and Women’s Health. She is a certified and registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida, BLS and ACLS certified, member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
