Dr. Melissa Mendoza Suyo has been with Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care since December 2023. She obtained her medical degree from National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru, and did various internships including Pediatrics, General Surgery, and Internal Medicine. Additionally, she was the recipient of multiple first-place medical research awards in her native Peru. She later completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Mendoza Suyo is Board Certified in Pediatrics, and licensed in the states of Texas and Florida, as well as Peru. She is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; American Academy of Pediatrics; and the American Medical Association. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
