Dr. Rodicio Receives Patients’ Choice and Compassionate Doctor Awards from Vitals

Dr. Ileana Rodicio, MD - FCAACMIAMI, FL – May 2013 – Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care is proud to announce that Dr. Ileana Rodicio has been honored with two top awards from Vitals.com.

Vitals, the creators of the first consumer marketplace for healthcare information, have recognized Dr. Rodicio with two awards: the Patients’ Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Award. Vitals.com is the leading online physician information and ratings website, based on real patient ratings. Only 20,000 doctors, less than 3 percent of all doctors nationally, met the criteria for honors in 2012. The winners represent 39 specialists and more than 2,500 neighborhoods across the U.S.

Dr. Ileana Rodicio has been with Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care since 2003. She works in the Kendall and West Kendall offices. Dr. Rodicio was born in Cuba and went to medical school at the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Higher Education in Havana, Cuba. She did her Internship & Residency in Internal Medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She did her fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at New York Presbyterian Hospital at Weill Cornell University. Dr. Rodicio is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; the Florida Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society; and the Dade County Medical Association. She is fluent both in English and in Spanish.
