MIAMI, FL – November 20, 2013 – Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care (FCAAC) will host a special Thanksgiving Feast for more than 150 individuals with developmental disabilities who attend The WOW Center (formerly known as Community Habilitation Center) on Wednesday, November 27th, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thanks to the generous donation from one of FCAAC’s longtime vendors, Corporate Caterers will be donating all the food for this wonderful holiday event. Also in attendance will be elected officials and supporters of The WOW Center. Volunteer servers will be on-hand to serve throughout the event.

The WOW Center, formerly known as Community Habilitation Center, was created 40 years ago by a small group of parents of children with developmental disabilities. The organization assists more than 150 adults with disabilities from Miami-Dade County who range in ages 21-71. Their goal is to provide quality programs and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in order for them to lead meaningful and productive lives.
